Guess who?

Happy Holidays

Hey there y'all. Christmas is coming and it is just two days away. I am so excited. I get to have my whole family home for the holidays. Jeremy is coming home a few days afterwards however. In church I was given a real cool poem on the birth of Jesus Christ. It came in a stocking with a bag of M&M's and the message was this:

As you look at the M&M candies and turn them you will see
The "M" Becomes a "W"
An "E" and then a "3."
They tell the Christmas story I'm sure it's one you know.
It took place in a stable A long, long time ago.
The "E" is for East where the star shone so bright
The "M" is for the Manager where the baby Jesus slept at night.
The "3" is for the Wisemen, bearing gifts, with which they came.
"W" is for Whorship, Hallelujah!Praise his Name!
So as you eat These candies or share them with a friend,
Remember the meaning of Christmas:
It's a love that never ends

Whatever you believe, I hope that you have a great holiday and vacation. It is a wonderful time to be with family and make new goals for a brand new year.

SHOP TO EARN/SHOP TO EARTH

I am really excited about a new website business my friend told me about that I joined called Shop to Earn/Shop to Earth.
When she talked about it I thought it was really awesome.
I really think that the business came at the right time given the economic climate, the increase in e-commerce and the interest in environmentally friendly products.

Shop to Earn/Shop to Earth is a virtual mall - an online shopping portal - that is affiliated with hundreds of companies such as Target,Barnes and Nobles, Borders, Babies R Us, Gap, Banana Republic, Victoria's Secret, Macy's, Neimun Marcus, Drugstore, com (Rite Aide), Restaurants.com, Expedia.com, Travelocity, Home Depot, Office Depot, Staples, Avalon Organics, Jason Naturals, Kiss my Face, True Green and many many many more.

When you buy a membership (like costco) and shop for the items we all shop for everyday - from office supplies to cleaning supplies to toiletries and clothing and etc..., you get 1% - 40% cash back (depending on the individual retailer/manufacturer).

go to my website shoptoearn.net/davidmiar
and click on the bottom left had corner where it says "Welcome to the website of Mia Rudd
then click where it says "Overview" to learn more about it.
The video is a great introduction to the membership aspect as well as the business opportunity.

We are also having some meetings about it here in Bakersfield. Let me know if you want more info on that too.

Thanksgiving

Well we are finally done with the sickness stuff. Emili got home from the hospital and it was a nice day before we headed down to LA. Emili started thowing up again and we had to stop near Magic Mountain. Thought we were going to take her to the hospital again but she just went back to asleep. When we got to my friends house she threw up all over David. We decided to stay at our friends house the night and in the morning, she was all better. Thanksgiving was awesome. We had a lot of fun with our family. There were nearly 40 people there. The kids had a bouncy house. Thanksgiving is just what I like it to be. A time to be with family and to love each other. And to give Thanks to God.
The day after Thanksgiving was not so much fun. I got the 24 hour flu that Emili got. Luckily it was short lived but very exhausting. Now we have had a lot of sickness lately in our family. Tashya now has a skin rash and not sure why she does. I am so tired of it and pray that is will be done soon. And we can all be healthier. Thanks for all those people who are keeping us in their though and prayers. Hope you have a good week.

Happier kids

Here are some more random photos of the girls in the last month. Enjoy

Emili in the hospital

Welcome

Well here we are. I have started blogs before in the past but have yet to stick to them and be successful with them. Sooooo here goes nothing.
This photo was just taken seconds ago as I found out we don't have a family photo of us at all. That is on the list for Christmas this year. So, Emili just got out of the hospital. It wasn't really that fun. We brought her in here because she kept throwing up and could not keep anything down for a few days. Not even water. They admitted here and she had to stay for two nights. It was so sad to see her. Those of you that stopped by would know cause she was just laying there looking out into nothing. They ended up giving her abou 7 or 8 bags of fluid and her sugar levels were way down too. David and I made our selves right at home as we both bargained to stay the night there. It was a pretty good set up. They had a parents room with a fridge,tv and couch in it and they also let us take showers in the kids shower room. We got three square meals a day. So for being in a place that we really didn't want to be in, it served it's purpose. Glad that she is all better and we are back at home. Tashya was being watched by my mom and also had a night of throwing up. Not sure if it was a milder case or something totally different. It is crazy what you can catch in the hospital. After Emili got out yesturday, I went to the doctor and got some medication myself as I have now bronchitis. No fun. WELL, we are all alive and doing better today. I feel like it has been a while since we been home.
